I've looked all over for a good picture of what I feel the King In Yellow should look like, but never found one that piqued my interest, so I decided to do one myself. This is my first photomanip really..one that I spent any amount of time on. I used Apophysis 2.2 for the backgrounds and flame fractals, brought it into Photoshop and played around with filters and such. The hands are from digital photographs, the mask and some of the robe is drawn in with the help of AzraelEngel's merkaba brushes. The Yellow sign was drawn in then filtered, and the star cluster where Aldebaran is located was taken from stock photography from the web. Yes, the upper right IS actually Aldebaran in the Hyades...for those of you who dig the Cthulhu mythos.
